32 Bleu

We were back in Colorado Springs for this gig, at a club called 32 Bleu. Ari and the guys co-headlined with a band called Teitur. I think they were European, because they had accents and their music was really good in a way only non-American music can be. It was also the last in a stint of gigs where Anna Nalick opened. By this time we were all infatuated with her, and hated to part ways at the end of the night. Her throat condition had just crested its zenith, so she went acoustic, which was a rare treat. Her voice had that sexy Stevie Nicks rasp going on, which is never a bad thing. After everyone had played and we had packed up to leave, our group met Anna's group in the bar for one last goodbye and a round of hugs. They're a great bunch of people, and I hope we meet again sometime.
